At our authentic reindeer farm, you’ll meet friendly locals and magnificent reindeer up close. During the summer, you can visit us guided reindeer farm tour, to which you may also add lunch if you wish.
“Summer Visit to Reindeer Farm” is available by online request from 15.6.2026 throughout the summer season.
Our winter season begins as soon as the first snow arrives, and in the early season in November we offer “First Snow Ride and Farm Visit.” Join us and experience the magic of the tranquil early season!
A full winter weekly program will be available from 1.12.2026 and we will open the sales during June.
Our reindeer farm is located just a 15-minute drive from Luosto, but please note that there is no public transportation available. We offer a pick-up service from your accommodation in Luosto, which can be booked online as an additional payable service when reserving your reindeer experience.
If you’re staying further away – for example, in Pyhätunturi or Rovaniemi – the Ski Bus is an excellent option for reaching Luosto. The bus schedules align well with our tour times. Simply add the transportation service to your booking and let us know your pick-up location. If you’re not staying within the resort area, Lapland Hotel Luostotunturi is a convenient central pick-up point.

If you are staying any other location than Luosto, or if your party is more than 8 persons, instead of paying the transfers online, please make an inquiry by e-mail to get a fixed price.
If you are arriving at the farm on your own, please make sure to be there at least 10 minutes before the tour departure. We are unable to wait for late arrivals or issue refunds in the case of missed tours.
If you arrive significantly early, please wait at the gate. Do not enter the farm area without one of our guides.
Summer Visit to Reindeer Farm
Guided visit to our reindeer farm is an interesting insight into local life, traditional reindeer herding and Sámi culture.
- Available by online request from June 15 /2026, Monday to Saturday at 11:00 – 12:00 throughout the season (excluding a few holiday periods)
- Booking in advance, cut off 15 hours.
- Submit a booking request online, and we will send you a payment link. The booking will be confirmed once the payment has been completed. The visit must be paid at least 15 hours before the program starts, otherwise the reservation will not become valid.
- Minimum participants: 2 paying customers
